My background as an accomplished programmer, graphic designer, and project leader gives me a unique perspective on web application design and allows me to expedite the development process. From conception to completion, I have been involved in all aspects of web site creation: developing user-centric site architectures, designing and implementing high-impact navigational interfaces, managing and developing content, and programming complex database driven web applications.
My approach to web design and development have been recognized as "industry leading" by Ernst and Young Consulting and Adobe Systems. I have also been invited to present at several industry conventions and seminars as a featured speaker including c|net's Web Builders Live conference and a web symposium for NASA.
personal INTERESTS
- Keeping up with my ten year old son.
- Playing baseball and being a lifelong fan of the TEN TIME WORLD CHAMPION St. Louis Cardinals.
- Listening to vocal jazz music (especially Diana Krall, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, or anything written by Cole Porter).
- Writing poetry.
- Public Speaking.
- Wii tennis and bowling.
little known FACTS
In 1990, I signed as a recording artist and writer with Luke/Atlantic Records and recorded a LP. That year, my group (The 2AWK) recorded a single that appeared in the motion picture Hangin' with the Homeboys, starring John Leguizamo. Before signing with Luke/Atlantic, I perfomed in concert with several old school hip-hop artists including: Salt 'N Pepa, The Fatboys, Heavy D, and LL Cool J.
Although I am now on longer involved in the recording industry, I still enjoy writing lyrics and the occasional performance.
